You can easily get by in transient towns like New York or Washington, D.C., without needing to learn a ton of their history. Not so in Detroit.

Most things that define the state of the city today—its geography, demographics, and culture—can be traced back to racist policies and trends, like housing and job discrimination, demolition of vibrant black neighborhoods for freeways, and white flight. These events have built up decades of justifiable resentment and a skepticism of outsiders, especially those with a goal of “fixing” Detroit. – Detroit Curbed

This seems like a very challeng-able interpretation of Detroit’s history. Furthermore, blacks have been in charge of Detroit since 1973. That is nearly 55 years. Detroit is now 81% black and has been at this level for many years.

Why is Detroit considered the most undesirable city or one of the most undesirable cities in the country? Why is it one of the more poorly run cities in the US if the blacks are in total control of the city? Is the 8% white population continuing to discriminate against blacks?

Secondly, most whites who saw Detroit change firsthand believe that blacks are responsible for the decline of Detroit. However, it is nearly impossible to find published material on this. The censorship in the topic is huge.

Detroit is a Beautiful Black Town?

Here is the quote that motivated me to write this article.

Detroit is about 80 percent African American and has been a majority black city for decades. So it’s no wonder that black culture and pride imbues almost everything.

At a public event, there’s bound to be music (probably funk, soul, or hip-hop) and dancing. Murals featuring portraits of black icons, like Coleman A. Young (Detroit’s first black mayor), Rosa Parks, and Barack Obama, are painted all over the city. The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History is one of the city’s great institutions.

One has to wonder how accurate the information provided to the Charles H Wright Museum visitors is given black’s strong pattern of making up false history.

The Heidelberg Project and Dabls African Bead Museum, designed by black artists with black themes, are two gorgeous and profound public art installations.

Detroit is a beautiful black town.

Let us try to rewrite this and insert the word white for black and see how this sounds.

Is that modified quote something that you could see being written?

Probably not. It would be considered racist.

This illustrates how non-white cultures can be celebrated, but it is considered strange or racist to celebrate white culture. Furthermore, Detroit is a hell hole, and black cities are terrible both in the US and Africa. One can check the website Nomad List to see that African cities are normally some of the lowest-ranked cities in the world. Yet even though the percentage of the population that is black is the number one predictor of violent crime (as you can read in this article Is Gun Culture of Black Culture to Blame for Gun Violence?), it is considered normal to praise black culture, but not to praise white culture.

Secondly, Detroit is not a “beautiful black town.” It is a city where few people travel if they don’t have to, and where people would prefer to leave — if they could.

The Real Estate Market is Filled With Fixer Uppers?

The following quote is comedy gold.

Until recently, residents had been steadily leaving Detroit for decades. But abandonment of homes escalated rapidly with the bottoming out of the real estate market after the 2008 housing crash. In Detroit, poor residents received overassessed tax bills that they couldn’t pay, and countless homeowners went into foreclosure.

Really?

Are the 2008 housing crash and overassessed tax bills responsible for abandoned homes? That was all there was to it?

Let’s take a look at some video evidence.

The previous explanation of the decline of Detroit real estate appears to be a bit of an understatement. Detroit is so black that there are not enough whites to maintain the infrastructure, and black corruption has taken over. It takes an hour for police to show up after a call, so you don’t have police protection in the city. This is a lot more than some tax overassessments. 

Blacks don’t seem to realize that they greatly depend upon the whites in society to maintain infrastructure and technology and the system they think is theirs.

Detroit is an example of what happens when blacks are left to their own devices. This can not be admitted or observed. However, every city that becomes majority-black becomes a pale imitation of itself. First, the whites leave, then the blacks seek to leave. Without whites, black cities are not sustainable and end up not long as net payers of taxes to the federal government but tax recipients.

Every predominantly black city or black area goes through the same process. The city or area declines. Then the question is, “What went wrong.” Every excuse is given, except for the obvious fact that the population has changed.

The quote from this video goes..

What happened to Chicago? Or is Chicago just a scapegoat for a violent nation, and a testament of what is to come.

This is a ridiculous statement as it is known that blacks commit over 1/2 of the violent crimes in the US. White areas are not violent, so the US is not overall a violent nation.

But black areas are violent. This is easily observable in the statistics, but commentators like the one in this video continually present violent black areas as some mystery that no one can figure out. Every black area is treated as isolated, and the statistics across black areas are excluded from the analysis. Black violent crime, which has stigmatized the US internationally, is blamed not on blacks but on the US as a violent society.

At the 6:36 mark in the video, the narrator states..

Truth be told, Chicago ranks just 9th in murders.

(Detroit is at four).

Why is it phrased as “just 9th?” 9th is high. Remember, there are hundreds of cities in the US. Furthermore, did it escape the attention of the video producers and the author that all the other cities it displayed on the list are black?

Chicago is 30% black. However, 81% of murder victims are black, and people of their own race murder most murder victims. If Chicago were 80% black, like Detroit, guess what would happen to Chicago’s position on the list?

The narrator says that even though Chicago is 24th for violent crime, in the court of public opinion, it is considered an active war zone. However, Chicago has black areas and not black areas. The black areas are active “war zones.” The areas that are responsible for improving Chicago’s score are not black. This author is trying to comingle the non-black and black areas and ignore the concentration of black and black crime in Chicago.

The narrator goes on to say..

Even as mass shootings multiply and urban violence escalates coast to coast.

This is, again, highly deceptive. It makes it sound like all areas are escalating. The violence that is escalating is primarily due to blacks and secondarily due to Hispanics.

As I cover in the article Are Most Mass Shootings in the US White? The majority of mass shooters are black, not white, as is commonly presented by non-whites. Furthermore, the BLM riots pushed back on policing, which has caused violent crime to increase significantly. The police have been undermined by black and co-opted white pressure on police departments to reduce policing. This is what happens in black areas. They complain about discrimination and reduce the effectiveness of the police departments.

The video goes on to say that blacks were restricted in where they could live in Chicago. However, this only meant they had to live around mostly blacks. If blacks are desirable to live around, why is this a problem? It sounds like blacks become offended and disadvantaged if they can’t move away from blacks and towards whites. The only thing that was restricted was the rights of blacks to move to white areas and ruin the lives of those who had nothing to do with black outcomes or black culture. This illustrates the continual desire by blacks to impose black dysfunction on whites and other races and use those races to escape other blacks.

Furthermore, the video fails to mention that blacks brought down those areas the blacks moved to. They state the areas were slums, but it is blacks that made them slums.

Yes, as a Landlord I have personally seen well kept White neighborhoods turn into boarded up houses within 10 years after the first black moves in. No one including Blacks want to have a black neighbor.

And while this is 100% true when other races don't want a black neighbor, it's called racism -- however, blacks think it is not racism if they don't want black neighbors.

Unfortunately, Blacks do not see themselves as part of the problem. However, it is Blacks that cause the downward spiral of a neighborhood.

Where did all of these views come from?

Are all of these experiences entirely delusional and based on deep-seated racism? There are many events described in these comments. Is the PC view that none of these things happened? If black neighborhoods are sustainable, why do blacks continually seek to move out of them, and why is their number one destination in white cities?

How Blacks Continually Engage in Race Scamming

Blacks live in a conflicted state where they need to continually accuse whites of racism while also asking for assistance from whites and being allowed to move away from blacks and towards whites.

Are Whites the Global Caretaker of Whites?

In the video, an ex-police officer wants whites in Chicago to be more concerned about blacks being shot on Chicago’s South Side. However, why is it the responsibility of whites to account for the dysfunctional culture of blacks? Its also important to consider how blacks treat whites when they are in control, and it is not pretty. That is, the empathy road with blacks is a one-way street.

Removing Responsibility for Their Behavior and Actions By Blaming Whites

There is this constant need for blacks to ask whites to be concerned with black issues while blacks deny their dysfunctional culture. However, there is never any expectation that blacks should be concerned about any other race, and in my experience, they aren’t.

Blacks Hate Segregation As it Undermines Their Ability to Steal the Benefits of White Societies for Themselves

Blacks complain of segregation, but again this means that blacks are undesirable to live around. Blacks are complaining they have to live around blacks. Detroit is a segregated city, in that it is 81.5% black, and look at the outcomes. Why is it not possible for blacks to create their own sustainable or effective environments when they are in control of things in an area? No group complains of segregation the way that blacks do, and this is because blacks have to access non-black areas to reduce exposure to their own negative culture. Once blacks are concentrated, they have to deal with other blacks’ negative externalities, which degrades their life experience and standards of living. This is what happened to the housing projects in Chicago. This was a major investment by governments to improve the condition of blacks. However, if you concentrate blacks together, their own culture predominates. Blacks constantly blame the outcome of black concentration on other groups because blacks don’t admit their own culpability.

What is left out of all of this is that blacks degraded effective areas when they were white.

What Whites Built?

There was an absurd amount of wealth in pre–Depression era Detroit. Barons of automobiles (Dodge, Fisher), retail (Hudson, Kresge, Kern), publishing (Booth, Scripps), and many other industries made their fortunes here.

During the Roaring ’20s, these industrialists built towering and beautiful Art Deco skyscrapers, many of which are still around today.

Yes, this was all white development. However, many of the white-built structures have been neglected and fallen into ruin since the city has come under black management. Curiously, this point is left out of this quote.

Little Municipal Support?

Detroiters have lived with little municipal support for years. In its place, they developed a strong network of block clubs, neighborhood associations, and community groups to get things done.

These groups not only provide residents with a sense of belonging, but also organize neighborhood cleanups, celebrations, patrols, gardens, development plans, housing stabilization, and much more.

This means that Detroit City is incompetent. However, this is not a common feature in US cities. Why is Detroit City so incompetent? Well, it might be because the employment in the city government is predominantly black. Did this same problem exist when most of the employees were white? No, it did not. But observe, this point is glossed over, or in fact, it is made to sound as if someone other than a black administration is delinquent.

Detroit’s Schools Are a Work in Process?

For families with children, this is often the biggest deterrent stopping people from moving to the city.

Almost all of Detroit’s public schools have issues with building maintenance, teacher retention, or student achievement.

Black children are poor students. If you have a child, you don’t want them to go to schools with many blacks.

At one point in the video on Chicago, one commenter states.

Many of the boys dropped and out of school and were put out on the streets, and they terrorized the communities.

Yes, many blacks act as predators. However, this same comment never seems to be made about people of Swedish descent. These black male children were put out of school because they were discipline problems for the school, and they degraded the experience of other students.

Another quote from the video stated.

In big cities across the America, the consensus is that public housing does not work.

However, public housing does work if the inhabitants are white. In Sweden and Norway, public housing is failing because the inhabitants are Arab. However, in videos like this one, there is no attempt to compare the outcomes of whites in public housing to blacks.

Another quote from the same video states.

The reason that high rise housing was built in Chicago was an attempt by the city government to constrain the black population of Chicago into a smallest geographic area. That is not a recipe for success, its a blueprint for disaster.

This is again the racial isolation argument. The question is never asked: why don’t blacks want to be around other blacks?

It is certainly true that blacks do better when they “fan out” and can extract off of white society, but what about white society? Why does white society have to be continually assaulted by the negative externalities of black behavior? Blacks already tremendously benefit from living in a society run by whites, why whites and other groups have also to receive the negative externalities of black culture?

Hopelessness and Black Reproduction

Another theme of the video on Chicago is hopelessness. Ok, why did the Chicago projects have women with six children as a common feature. Why don’t blacks moderate their lower opportunities by producing fewer children in the next generation? They also birth children far too young, which cuts off their options, and making their lives even more difficult, and is yet another indicator of poor impulse control. One of the best things a person who is struggling can do is not to have any children. This lowers the burden on the parent and does not subject the child to a hopeless situation. This is of particular importance because blacks underperform other racial groups in parenting. Having fewer children would allow them to invest more in each one.

Blacks have a continual problem with thought. They do poorly in school and can’t figure out how to use birth control to moderate their reproduction. Their analysis of their situation is consistently biased and self-centered and is dependent upon whites to save them — while at the same time, they hate whites because they cannot produce white outcomes.

Why Blacks Were Always A Bad Fit for the US or Any White Society

The odd thing is that while blacks have been such a bad fit for the US for centuries, the US continues to allow blacks to immigrate to the US. This is another factor that is increasing the black population. There are too many blacks in the US — there is little reason to allow even more blacks to immigrate to the US.

Instead, the black percentage of the US population has continually increased, as the white population has declined and the overall population has increased due primarily to immigration. Blacks create strong negative externalities, and there have to be very few blacks in a city for the rest of the inhabitants to absorb the negative externalities of blacks.

The Dominance of Blacks in the Violence Statistics in the US

Why Other Races Flee Black Areas

Whites and other races flee from blacks for very good reasons. In the US blacks are the number one racial group that victimizes other racial groups with violent crime. Black culture is harmful to both blacks and anyone else who is around blacks. Blacks themselves know this. However, they don't usually admit it to other races and prefer to blame everything else but themselves. For blacks to effectively race scam -- they have to hold the position that blacks behave the same and deserve the same outcomes as other races. 

All Races Are the Same?

This is a part of the root of the problem. This proposal that all races are the same had no evidence to support it, yet it was asserted because it was politically correct. It was an appealing lie to believe because it "felt good."

Once this idea took hold, it now became a platform to say that all races should have the same things, and this has primarily been interpreted as non-whites invading white spaces and countries and taking their society from them.

Blacks want white outcomes, but because they can't produce white outcomes on their own, they have to invade white societies to obtain them, and their tool is not producing these things themselves but by taking them through living in white-originated societies.

The Repeating Pattern Seen Everywhere Blacks Exist

When blacks move into a neighborhood, that area becomes undesirable. Shoplifting increases, violence increases, and sexual assault increases. This leads to stores closing and a downward spiral for that area. The higher the percentage of the population that is black, the more predominant this and many other negative behaviors become as they begin to behave in conformance with black culture and expectations rather than conforming. 

What Would Happen if the US Had No Blacks?

Blacks are a massive civilization threat to any country, society, or city that accepts them. All countries, except white countries, have figured out not to have blacks live in their borders. 

Here is some food for thought: “What if all the Blacks suddenly left America, which is 13.3% of the total U.S. population?” and these statistics would improve. 

• Amount of people in poverty would drop - 34%
• The prison population would go down - - 37%
• Welfare recipients would go down by - - - 42%
• Gang members would go down by - - - - - 53%
• Chlamydia cases would go down by - - - - - 54%
• Homelessness would go down - - - - - - - - 57%
• Syphilis would go down - - - - - - - - - - - - 58%
• AIDs & HIV would go down - - - - - - - - - - 65%
• Gonorrhea would go down - - - - - - - - - - 69%
• Average ACT scores would go up - - - - - - 5.5 points
• Average IQ would go up - - - - - - - - - - - - 7.4 points, (this is how much only 13% of the population in drags down IQ scores) This would put the U.S. 3rd in the world tied with Japan
• Average SAT scores would go up almost - - - 100 points
• The average income for Americans would go up over $20,000 a year

Blacks are major users of subsidies from the rest of the taxpaying population. This burden (some of which used to help blacks reproduce more blacks) would be lifted from the rest of the population

The effect on cities would be profound. All of the predominantly black cities from Detroit to East St Louis to Baltimore to Atlantic City, Wilmington Deleware -- every city would experience an immediate and radical improvement. 

Blacks as a Civilizational Threat

Blacks are a civilizational threat to any area, any city, and they seek to infiltrate white cities and countries because they have no ability to create functional societies, as I cover in the article What Happens When Blacks Take Over Management of Cities and Countries from Whites? Therefore, blacks need to infiltrate a society or city that is already built up by another group -- with the inevitable outcome that the area is ruined when a sufficient number of blacks are present.

Conclusions

One can show pride in non-white cities, but one cannot praise a city for being primarily white, or that article will be called racist, and there will be calls for the city to become more “diverse” or non-white. Is this because of some overriding interest in making all cities more “diverse?” No, it is because non-whites want to live in white countries and within white areas within white countries. Diversity and racism are shaming mechanisms that enable non-whites to gain access to white areas that they cannot create on their own. Therefore, it is normalized to praise a city for being 81.5% black, even though the outcomes are terrible, and most people in Detroit would prefer to move out. Still, it is not considered acceptable to praise a city for being 81.5% white.

Whites or those of European ancestry create the best cities and living environments. Yet, the continual request of whites by non-whites is that they are allowed to immigrate to their environments. This is invading their environments with the eventual takeover by non-whites. This is why I propose why Whites Have to Assert the Right to Live Around Other Whites.

A part of this is not to allow it to be socially acceptable to praise or take pride in white society while all other racial groups are allowed to sing their praises. In the popular media, a good city is either non-white entirely, with the euphemism for being not white or “diverse.”
