Executive Summary
- Many vendors pretend to be cloud when, in fact, they aren’t.
- Brightwork Explorer offers a true cloud solution with entirely flexible terms.
Introduction
Before we developed Brightwork Explorer, we performed research on how the cloud promise has been attenuated through vendors that offer faux cloud. Both of the offerings are not multitenant, and the terms and conditions are not flexible or cancellable on short notice.
The Real Reason Vendors Often Fight the Cloud
Many vendors don’t actually like the cloud because they lose control. Quite a few vendors have based their entire business model on control.
We are all in on the cloud, and unlike many vendors who had to transition to the cloud (and are still transitioning), our development of Brightwork Explorer was always in the cloud. That has we never developed an on-premises edition. This allows us to meet the needs of any number of customers from a central location. When we make updates; they are transparent to you (except for emails that explain new functionality).
We demo from the Brightwork Explorer server, can provide near-instantaneous access to Brightwork Explorer. Therefore, there is nothing to install and nothing to maintain.
