Physical Inventory
As with the post on low stock checking. EWM has the ability to perform physical inventory. The first step is navigating to define the physical inventory configuration object. Next, we can decide which categories to display.
Now we assign the storage bins to the activity areas.

It is necessary to define what the tolerance groups are for the posting differences. This way, the system can be told how much is essentially “too much” in terms of variance. This concept of tolerance also comes up in Event Management.
