Introduction

Muslims frequently provide false information to both Muslims and non-Muslims about Arab involvement in slavery. However, slavery in multiple forms is core to understanding how Islam initially spread so effectively during what is commonly referred to as the Golden Age. Slavery, as well as sex slavery, both of which have been historically aggressively promoted by Islam — and were both promoted and engaged in by Mohammed — who is according to Muslims the perfected human and who cannot be critiqued. That is in Islamic doctrine, if Mohammed did something — all Muslims worldwide (again according to Islamic doctrine) are required to approve of that statement or behavior. Any negative or critical comment of Mohammed is punished by death in many Muslim countries.

Sex Slavery and Rape as a Core Feature of How Islam Was Spread

Globally, outside of Southeast Asia — where Muslims could not conquer and so converted through trading relationships, the primary method of conversion to Islam has been through conquest. But how Mohammed and later caliphs recruited soldiers for Islam is a very important part of understanding the history and nature of Islam.

Early on, Mohammed found a highly successful way to continually recruit and motivate Islamic soldiers. This was to offer a religious justification for slavery and sex slavery. And he also offered unending sexual encounters through his promises to Islamic warriors who died in battle. This is the well-known promise of “72 virgins” in the afterlife. The Revelation for Raping POWs

The following quote describes mass sex war crimes committed through Islamic conquest.

Umm walad (mother of child) is a title given to a woman who gave birth to her master’s child. If a female slave gave birth to her master’s child she still remained a slave. However, the master would no longer be allowed to sell her. She would also become free once he died.

The Banu Thaqif and Banu Hawazin tribes decided to go to war against Muhammad under the leadership of Malik ibn Awf. Malik had the unfortunate idea of bringing the women, children and livestock with his army. He believed that by bringing their women and children with the army, all his soldiers would fight more courageously to defend them. When Muhammad was informed that the Hawazin had brought their women, children and livestock with them, he smiled and said “Inshaa Allah, all these will become the booty of war for the Muslims.”

It was expected that Muslims would not only gain the property of the men that were killed during battles but that all of the women would become sex slaves to Muslim warriors. There is no difference here between killing your neighbors and then taking the money, children and any livestock as property, and then turning your neighbor’s wife into a sex slave.

While you will probably consider this abhorrent — to Muslims this is completely accepted. These things are not some abherent form of Islam that developed after Mohammed died — they were all things practiced right from the beginning of Islam, and were also practiced by Mohammed himself.

The Muslim army defeated the Hawazin and captured their women and children. The pagan soldiers fled. The war booty which the Muslims obtained was 24,000 camels, more than 40,000 goats, 160,000 dirhams worth of silver and 6,000 women and children. Muhammad waited ten days for the Hawazin to repent and reclaim their families and properties. However, none of them came. Finally, Muhammad distributed the war booty among the Muslim soldiers. The Muslim soldiers initially hesitated to have sex with the married female captives, until a verse was revealed giving them permission to have sex with them:

That is — the basic morality of the Muslim soldiers was much higher than that of Mohammed. However, after Mohammed gave them permission — which was a revelation from Allah — the Muslims felt nearly obligated to begin raping.

Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri said, “We captured some women from the area of Awtas who were already married, and we disliked having sexual relations with them because they already had husbands. So, we asked the Prophet about this matter, and this Ayah (verse) was revealed, Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess). Consequently, we had sexual relations with these women.” (emphasis added) – Wikipedia

What Do Muslims Say About These Historical Facts?

Muslims will not admit to any of this — even though it is not only stated clearly in the Muslim documents (The Koran, Hadith, and the Sirah), and is behavior that is documented historically on the part of Muslims. And was also practiced very recently by ISIS. Muslims do not tell the truth about Islam if anything might make Islam look bad. Anything that makes Islam look bad can be suppressed on the basis that it will reduce converts to Islam — which will then reduce the number of people that get to Islamic heaven.

Muslims receive our Golden Pinocchio Award for lying about Mohammed and Islam’s position on sex slavery. 

Conclusion

There is no way around the fact that Mohammed and Islam have been staunchly in favor of sex slavery.

Muslims enslaved the most people in human history, and slavery allowed Islam to spread through conquest so successfully.

Islam proves that large numbers of men want slaves and sex slaves. All they are waiting for is to have a leader like Mohammed — or any of the Islamic leaders that followed him to tell them that god approves of raping prisoners of war.
