Executive Summary
- Brightwork is known for writing articles that work backward from evidence without concern for what is politically correct.
- We cover why this is necessary for good research.
Introduction
We cover some highly controversial areas, and we publish material without concern for offense or if it contradicts the status quo. The reality is that the majority of the population always prefers to fit in versus supporting what is true.
What is Politically Correctness?
Political correct views are evidence-free assertions that attempt to minimize the exposure to reality by different special interest groups.
Political correctness is a type of mindless herd following behavior that is justified on the basis of not making people feel bad. It means subverting true conclusions because they would be offensive. Therefore, political correctness is the denial of true things and the foisting of false assertions to make people feel good who cannot tolerate true statements because of their bias. Political correctness leads to the desire to censor those things that are not politically correct and is in opposition to what is true and freedom of expression. Politically correct actors spend less time providing arguments than they do discrediting the source because this or that conclusion is “insert the blank.”
What Does Not Being Politically Correct Require
Not being politically correct means being criticized. It is much easier to modify one’s analysis and statements to be politically correct, and it is easier. However, it is false.
Conclusion
We do not follow politically correct ideas because we are dedicated to what is true, and being politically correct means modifying conclusions to meet the current thinking. This has been a constant issue in research for as long as there has been research. For example, Charles Darwin waited until the end of his life to publish The Origin of Species, as he was concerned about blowback from the religious.
